Crisis Core finally escapes the PSP

 The ravaging is complete, pretty much every exclusives PSP and Vita game has now escaped the fold, with Square announcing a remaster CRISIS CORE –FINAL FANTASY VII– REUNION for pretty much every platform. The PSP physical-only exclusive has long been a mystery to now portable gamers but is a cracking addition to the series telling the early life of Zack Flair, with his combat-heavy adventures leading him into the orbit of Cloud, Sephiroth, Aeith, Tifa and others that launched to fame in FF7. 

This news comes hot on the heels of Persona 3 Portable coming to other platforms via Atlus and the general drive for ports and remasters. Pretty much all that's left is Freedom Wars, which I'd love to see get a sequel. Perhaps the original Freedom Wars developer's new studio TVT may be the people for the job (rights issues aside)?

 

 And, for no apparent reason, someone thought it would be a good idea to compare the 2008 PSP game with the next-gen remaster. If this serves any purpose, it shows how powerful the PSP was in its time!
